"SAVING THE WORLD ONE BEER AT A TIME"

Whatever on earth is CleanTech Happy Hour (CTHH) and how did it begin? Let's us give you a quick overview but seeing is believing, so we say, come on down! bring a friend or two or three (you decide )and loads of name cards.

What is it: CTHH is a relaxed get-together of the Green and Clean Community of Singapore where you can exchange ideas and pretty talk about anything under the sun (literally) . Think of it as a business matching/networking session with great drinks minus the suit and tie.

Who is it for : Everyone and anyone working on, with a passion for or just an interest in clean technologies, renewable, carbon management, water, energy efficiency, etc. etc. Sun, fire , wind, earth, biogas…. ( you get the gist.)

Perhaps YOU’VE got a question about the Cleantech industry? Looking for a biogas technology provider ?Wondering what is the Kyoto Protocol? Or simply curious to know what is CleanTech all about and unwinding at the same time at fantastic venues!

When is it: Generally held on the first Wednesday of every month and since there is no set agenda, feel free to drop by anytime between 6:30 to 9:00 pm

How did it all begin:

CTHH was an initiative by Julian which spanned very two successful Cleantech Happy Hour events held at the Geek Terminal. When Julian relocated to Washington D.C., we did not want to see the end of this event especially with all that positive feedback

So volunteered to take over the organization of the event .

CTHH III JUNE 2009 , we stuck to the original format and venue and were very encouraged with the response and support from the people who showed up.

CTHH IV July 2009 was really a test for us. Earlier on, we figured we might experiment a bit with the format, new locations, guest speakers, panels, etc. etc.

We changed the venue to ORGO (www.orgo.sg) located at the Roof Terrace at the Esplanade and kept our fingers crossed that people would show. They did and we breathe a sigh of relief.

CTHH V AUG 2009 will again take a different turn. A new Venue and a new program . Look out for news on this in your email or bookmark us for the latest on CTHH happenings !
